Popular Maskandi singer, Mthandeni Manqele better known as Igcokama Elisha has again hit a journalist.

According to a report in Ilanga, Igcokama Elisha drove all the way from his home in Emdletsheni outside Hluhluwe to Khuzwayo’s workplace in Durban.

Upon hearing that he was on leave and at his home, He proceeded to Khuzwayo’s home the same day.

“When he got there, there was a traditional ceremony happening. People screamed and welcomed him thinking he was there for the ceremony.

“He then asked to speak to Khuzwayo and told him they must go outside the compound. He did that under the pretence that he was doing a documentary.

“What he said is that he wanted Khuzwayo to appear in the documentary as someone who is well versed on the history of Maskandi.

“But when they were outside, he changed the subject and asked why he had written a story about him being hit during a membeso ceremony in early August.

“That is when he started attacking Khuzwayo. He repeatedly hitting him on the cheeks with an open hand.

“He did that until Khuzwayo was bleeding and it all happened while everybody watched,” a source quoted by Ilanga said.
