Popular Maskandi artist Igcokama Elisha has been reprimanded for his reaction after a supporter who tried to kiss him.
But he is unhappy about that because he feels the supporter abused him by trying to shove his tongue on his ear.
The incident happened while he was performing on stage at the weekend and the video of the incident has gone viral.
What seem to anger him the most is that it was a male fan who tried his luck on him while he was on stage.
“I would like to sincerely apologise to those who saw wrong in my actions in the video that is trending where a man tried to kiss me.
“In my reaction I hit him. I apologise to those who feel I was wrong to do that.
“An old English saying says ‘the customer is always right’ and I understand that,” said Igcokama Elisha in a YouTube video.
“But I want you to understand this, it is not the first time that people celebrate me.
“People liked me since I was young when I started in music in 2013. I have now been about seven years in this industry.
“When people see me and come running to me when I feel it is not safe, I move away to safety if I see the security detail is not coping.

“So, please don’t make it look like it was the first time a supporter was over excited to see me.
“I have never been kissed by a man before. If supporting me means I must accept this nonsense of being kissed by another man… No guys you might as well not support me.
“You like making people feel that they owe you for your support… ‘hey, I buy his music and support his hustle’
“Are you buying my music so you can shove your tongue down my throat when I am a man like you?
“I will not accept that. And those guys who want to show how feminine they are will attack me asking why I hit that guy.
“Please don’t show your gayness in comments. Saying I was wrong because if I have to be kissed by another man…
“I am not prostituting myself, I am a musician, I sing – that is all that we have in common.
“Saying an artist or celebrity doesn’t behave this way, what do you know about that?”
