New Ukhozi FM line-up out, Tshatha handed graveyard shift

The much anticipated Ukhozi FM new line-up is out, and there is a big surprise as Tshathugodo Ngobe is left out of the main prime time slots.
Ngobe was suspended by the isiZulu medium station earlier this year but was expected to be brought back when the new shows and their hosts are announced.
The KwaNongoma born presenter hosted two shows, the breakfast show Monday to Friday between 6.30 and 9am with Nongcebo McKenzie and the Saturday traditional music show, Sigiya Ngengoma with Zimiphi Biyela.
He was instead given the 12-3am slot on Mondays to Fridays, and the 12-3pm slot on Saturdays.
The breakfast show will be taken by Sipho “Sgqemeza” Mbatha and he will be partnered with Nonhlanhla “Mroza” Buthelezi. Dudu “Lady D” Khoza retained her midmorning slot while Bheka “Beekay” Mchunu takes the 12-3pm.
The afternoon drive show also gets new presenters with Siya Mhlongo and Selby “Selbeyonce” moved up to the slot. This leaves Mzokhona “Mzokoloko” Gumede without a slot.
The station’s business manager, Sbongi Ngcobo said she was confident the new line-up will take Ukhozi to even greater heights.
