Mampintsha finally makes Babes Wodumo Mrs Maphumulo

‘Gqom couple’, Mampintsha and Babes Wodumo have finally tied the know after a long and sometimes rocky relationship. Their grand wedding set social media abuzz when they tied the knot at the weekend.
The couple, real names Mandla Maphumulo and Bongekile Simelane have been engaged since last year.
Their wedding remained a secret to the media and public until the guests, who were mostly dressed in traditional gear, shared pictures and gave hints on social media, congratulating them.
According to what appears in the videos shared by guests, including DJ Tira on Instagram, the bride looked stunning in a Swati traditional attire while the groom wore Zulu traditional gear.
According to the videos, a minimum number of guests were present and details about the wedding venue remain unrevealed.
Men and women dressed in colourful Swati and Zulu traditional gear sang songs and performed traditional dance.
The newly weds’ fans took to social media, congratulating them, citing that after what they have been through over the past few years, they deserve happiness.
Xoliswa Madlala said: “Congratulations Mpintsho and Babes. You look stunning. I hope you treat each other well.”
In a video going viral on social media, DJ Tira can be heard saying: “Congratulations Mampintsha and Babes. Lets be happy. We are so grateful to the Big Nuz’s Huawei music video where you two met. What you are doing is good and we just hope you continue with it.”
A fan Musa Shabangu differed with most people: “I think they should not have gotten married after their huge fights over abuse. But we live in a free country, I guess our opinions will just be opinions because the couple will do what they think is right at the end. And when on earth did Babes’ father forgive Mampintsha?”
The famous music couple have been together for almost 10 years, and it seems like nothing is going to stand on the way of their love this time around.
