Lingashoni has got me hooked, I can’t miss even one episode

Since its inception, 1Magic has shown itself to be all about quality content. It is now known for airing interesting shows, movies, dramas, etc.

Lingashoni is the latest of the dramas they’ve introduced to their viewers a few months ago. I must say I never want to miss even one episode.

It is a story based on Mandla Cele who is played by Patrick Mofokeng, a veteran actor. Mofokeng is best known for his role as Mlungisi Ngema in eTV’s Scandal. Mandla was shot ten years ago, family and friends believed he died from that shooting.

It’s turned out that he was saved by Seipati who found him by the river unconscious and wounded.

Seipati, who is played by Liteboho Molise, nursed him back to health. She found him a job at the farm where she was also an employee. They became a family with Seipati’s two grown up sons, Mohau and Tebasto.

Mandla had amnesia, he didn’t even remember who he was or what happened on the day he was shot. He also does not know how did he end up in the river in Free State.

Seipati read about his past in the newspapers and she knows exactly who he was. But she hid all the information she had.

So, she gave him a new name Themba. As soon as Themba recalls his identity, he left Free State without explanation to his new family. On his arrival home, he found his former ‘iceboy’ Papi proposing to his wife Puleng.

Papi is played by Thato Molamo and Puleng is played by Thuli Thabethe. Puleng finds herself at a crossroads.

She now has to choose her family or her happiness with Papi, finally she chooses her family. That makes Papi furious, he even plots to kill Mandla which he fails and almost kills Puleng.

Seipati’s son Mohau falls in love with Mpumi, Mandla’s daughter. Mpumi was at that time engaged to be married to Donald.

Robert Nondumo (Mandla’s associate) thought he was the one who had Mandla killed 10 years ago. But he recently found that it was Puleng and Papi who shot Mandla.

In an attempt to keep Mandla away from digging the past. Robert gives him a tender to keep him busy and distract him from finding who shot him.

On the other hand, the Mchunu brothers try so hard to keep their promise to keep away from crime. But some of the gang members are not happy with their decision and they go behind the Mchunu’s backs and do more crime.

They end up stealing from the Mchunu brothers and that makes Ace and Mdu lose it. They are the kingpins of Soweto, so if you mess with them you have to run for your life.
