All men want is to enjoy sex without any performance anxiety and it is hard to do that when you experience Premature Ejaculation. This has an impact on the ego.
I want to assure men who suffer from PE that, firstly you are not alone. I get a number of men asking me how they can stop orgasming too quickly. Well, there are some ways to teach your body to last longer during sex.
- The Squeeze Technique – This exercise works for many men. It does however take some practice to master. You do this by manually preventing sperm from coming out.
What is good about this exercise is that you can do it with a partner or when you masturbate. When you feel like you are about to ejaculate, stop and apply pressure just below the head of the penis.
You will feel the type of pressure that will work for you. Do that for 5 seconds then relax for a further 30 seconds before you resume your stimulation again. Repeat the squeeze technique 4-5 times before you finally allow yourself to ejaculate.
- Edging (Stop Start Method) – If you are not comfortable with the squeeze technique then this is another exercise you can try. When you have sex, and you are about to orgasm stop and pull out. Or stop thrusting until the urge of ejaculating goes away.
Once it goes away, then you can start having sex again. This can also lead to a more intense orgasm.
- Kegel Exercises – These are not just for women. This is also a way that man who suffer from premature ejaculation can get control of their orgasms. These exercises target muscles that are related to PE and Erectile Dysfunction.
To find the correct muscles try it out when you visit the toilet to urinate. Stop your urine midstream, the muscles you contract when doing this are the same ones you will contract when doing your kegel exercises.
- Sexual Positions – There are certain sex positions that you and your partner can do. How you do sex can sometimes affect how quickly you come.
The positions like Spooning, side-by-side, cowgirl, girl on top, lazy doggy, grinding missionary etc. can restrict your level of thrusting.
The good thing is that you don’t need to have performance anxiety when it comes to premature ejaculation, there are ways to help beat it. If the above does not work, you can try extra strength condoms, delaying creams or sprays that can be purchased from adult shops.
There is always light at the end of the tunnel. For non-judgmental professional advice you can always contact me or any other sex coach, sex therapist or sexologists.
