UPrince Mabheka nendumezulu yomcimbi weYoga eThekwini
I-INTERNATIONAL Day of Yoga ehlelwe iSivananda World Peace Foundation isithole izibusiso ezinhlakeni zikahulumeni noNdunankulu waKwaZulu-Natal.
Lo mgubho, ozongena onyakeni weshumi wasungulwa, wavunywa ngisho nayi-United Nations General Assembly ukuthi uwumcimbi weqophelo lomhlaba.
UMnuz Ishwar Ramlautchman odume ngelikaMabheka Zulu, ongumsunguli walo mgubho ohlelwa ukuba ngoJune 22 eDurban Amphitheatre ngo-8.30am, uthe balindele abantu abalelwa ku-3000 abazoba ingxenye ekubalwa kubo amakhansela nabasemkhakheni wamabhizinisi.
Uveze ukuthi umdlalo i-yoga ithandwa kakhulu e-India lapho abantu ababalelwa ku200-million sebeyenze usiko mpilo kanti e-United States of America babalelwa ku-200 million abantu abazibandakanya nalo mdlalo.
Lo somabhizinisi ovamise ukubonakala emcimbini yesintu yasezigodlweni zeSilo, uthe basophe ukuthi lo mgubho uhehe izivakashi eziningi bese kuhlomula ngomnotho umkhakha wezokuvakasha.
UDr Sibongiseni Dhlomo oyiPhini likaNgqongqoshe weZempilo kuzwelonke uncome uMabheka Zulu ngemisebenzi yakhe yokuphosa esivinaneni kulabo abaswele nokuqhubeka nokuhlela lo mgubho kuyo yonke le minyaka.
“Umnyango weZempilo uthanda ukuveza ukujabula kwawo ngokubambisana futhi neSivananda World Peace Foundation nezinye izinhlaka ukubungaza iminyaka eyishumi wasungulwa lo mgubho,” kusho uDr Dhlomo.
UNdunankulu wase-KZN uNomusa Dube-Ncube oyinxusa lwalo mgubho naye ushayele ihlombe abahleli balo mcimbi.
Uthe ususize inqwaba yabantwana asebedlala iyoga ezikoleni ikakhulukazi zasemakhaya. Uphinde wanxusa abantu ukuthi bayeke ukucabanga ukuthi iyoga idalelwe amaNdiya kuphela. Kepha wonke umuntu engazibandakanya nayo ngenxa yemiphumela emihle yayo.
UDr Dhlomo, osebonakale kaningi ezibandakanya ne-yoga, uthe kumqoka ukuthi abantu bayijwayele ngoba ixukuza umqondo, umzimba futhi yenza abantu behlale beqatha ngokwempilo.
“IYoga ihambisana ngqo nezinto esihlale sithi kumele abantu bazibandakanye nazo ukuze kuvimbeke ukungenwa kalula izifo ezinhlobonhlobo. Kwaba izindaba ezimnandi kuthina ngesikhathi i-UN izibophezela ekutheni umhla ka-21 kuJunei kubeo yi-International Day of Yogato ,” kusho uDr Dhlomo.
