Lorch and Natasha, Mzansi’s newest Romeo and Juliet?
Posts of the talented actress and soccer star in one of the favourite baecation spots fuels rumours of whirlwind romance

Natasha Tahane and Thembinkosi Lorch are hot property in their respective fields. And they finally let the cat out of the bag about their whirlwind romance after posting pictures of their ‘baecation’.
Thahane is sought after actress who has viewers eating out of her palms with whatever role she plays. Lorch is a soccer star and plays for one of the country’s top teams, Orlando Pirates.
But he is also a subject of transfer speculation with both Pirates’ big rivals, Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns salivating at the thought of the dribbling wizard joining them.
And while they didn’t make an announcement of their relationship, Thahane posted a picture of a man and captioned it ‘my view’. She also posted one of herself and captioned it ‘his view’.
In the first photo he didn’t show the guy head but her followers soon caught her out and used the tattoos on his arms to determine that it was indeed Lorch.
Since then they have been trending with some wishing them well while others were plain jealous of the couple. They are set to be the country’s next ‘it couple’.
The two were vacationing in Zanzibar and claimed to be ‘just good friends’ but sources close to them have said there is a simmering relationship.
A close associate of Lorch’s said he had gone through a rough patch and Thahane had been there for him. “They are not officially together, or that’s what we thought before they left. But there was always that spark between them,” said the source who claims to be Lorch’s friend.
Commenting on the Twitter posts, Thabani said: “Forget about who appears on her shades (sunglasses), I’m here for the love bites on her neck.”

But the pair were careful and did not post any pictures of them together. In one of the picture Thahane, Lorch can be seen as the person taking the photo, with his image reflecting from the actress’ sunglasses.
Thahane is known and avid Orlando Pirates supporter and posts about the Buccaneers from time time.
She is budding talent in the local television industry and is known for roles on SABC 1 series, Skeem Saam. Thahane has also appeared on Mzansi Magic’s The Queen and Lockdown. She is also a graduate of New York Film Academy (NYFA). She is Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu’s granddaughter.
