Former PSL player happy he lost money and found Jesus
“I remember I used to boast about the numbers on my contract not knowing that my soul was suffering,” wrote Mkhwanazi
Buhle Mkhwanazi has revealed how much he earned at PSL side Bidvest Wits before the club folded and he was left without a salary.
He took to social media to reveal the contents of the contract he signed with the PSL team in 2018.
According to the contract, Mkhwanazi was earning a gross salary of R175 000 a month. It would increase by R10 000 per year for three years.
Mkhwanazi, who is now a born again Christian, is unattached after leaving SuperSport United last year.
He was released by the club after he refused to take the Covid 19 vaccination injection. He refused saying it was against his beliefs as a Christian.
The PSL’s rules do not allow for a player who is not vaccinated to play in its official games. This is per Covid 19 protocols and regulations.

“I remember I used to boast about the numbers on my contract not knowing that my soul was suffering,” wrote Mkhwanazi.
“The day Jesus Christ visited me I never knew that all this will be taken away from me by Him just for my soul to be saved.
“Today I boast in my weakness but with a soul that is prospering. It is better to hear the voice of God than being rich without knowing that your soul is in danger.
“I urge many to be rich in all things, receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal saviour and you shall recover one day.”
