The ANC in the Free State stands behind the Zanele Sifuba who is the latest party official to be involved in a sex scandal.
Sifuba, who is Free State speaker’s nudes were recently shared on social media by an alleged lover of Nigerian descent.
The ANC has discouraged those who continue to share these nudes which include a video of her pleasing herself.
“Cadre Sifuba has henceforth indicated to have opened a civil claim. And as a result advises all to respect her decision in dealing with this matter.
“The ANC caucus wishes to state that it has full confidence in cadre Zanele. We support her in what seems to be an attack to her integrity.
“We wish comrade Zanele strength, wisdom and energised courage to carry out her responsibilities as deployed by her organisation,” reads a statement from the party.
Sifuba was reportedly subjected to extortion by the young Nigerian who demanded R300 000 not to leak her sex tape.
The Nigerian is alleged to have leaked Sifuba’s nudes after she refused to pay the money that he demanded.
The unnamed Nigerian reportedly demanded R1 Million from the former mayor of Mangaung, Olly Mlamleli not to leak her nudes.
Fearing for her reputation, she allegedly gave him the money and was spared the humiliation of watching her trending on social media.
