Valentine’s Day weekends are usually very eventful with lovers declaring their undying love for each other, the past weekend was no different considering that we are actually still under level 3 lock down.

We are sanitizing more than ever before, forget about attending an event without wearing a mask. Our greetings are no longer accompanied by hugs and social distancing is the mother of all current regulations.

Valentine’s Nite at Maqaqa Exlusive Lifestyle was an epic experience. DJ Bongs arrived in his Porsche Cayenne GTS and Tira wouldn’t be Tira without an entourage arriving in a filled to capacity Mercedes V-Class. The talented LuluThando was their opening act, DJ Bongs and DJ Tira later brought the house down.

Guests absolutely loved the VVIP experience. On arrival guests were greeted with a smile and served hors d’oeuvres accompanied by cocktails. This was followed by platters that included but not limited to sushi, curried wings, barbeque beef strips, wraps, spring rolls, beef skewers, gigantic meat balls and pork ribs all in the comfort of style and luxury.

Maqaqa Exclusive Lifestyle boasts about 800 square meters under roof of ultimate luxury in Adam’s Mission, a sem-rural but one of the fastest developing areas in KwaZulu-Natal. The impressive mansion styled building is a one stop shop that takes care of all your needs in one place.

You bring your car in for a wash and you can either get your lunch while you wait or get any of your grooming requirements met in a boutique spa, hair salon, nail bar or barbershop in the vicinity.

The co-owner, Mrs Ngwabe asked why she and her husband decided to invest so much in a semi-rural area like Adam’s situated on the R63 off Umbumbulu leading to Kingsburg said: “We saw an opportunity to create jobs for the community of Adams. Maqaqa, as it’s affectionately known, has a permanent staff compliment of 26 people and casual staff that’s double the permanent staff during events,”
