Gqom Queen, Bongekile Simelane, popularly known as Babes Wodumo has hit back with some rage to her mother-in-law’s accusations about their traditional wedding held on Sunday.

In a video that trended on social media on Wednesday morning, Zama Maphumulo, Mampintsha’s mother, vents about not being invited to the traditional ceremony last weekend. (See here: https://bit.ly/3vnSZfu)

“I am pregnant, whether she likes it or not, and if she has a problem with that then that is not my business.

“I know we are not supposed to pay attention to anything she says when she is drunk, but this time she has gone too far, I will not leave this hanging,” said Babes.

This after Babes being accused by her new mother-in-law who took the video to say that Babes was faking her pregnancy by using a sponge and is still expecting the twins.

Babes threatened to lay charges. Mampintsha’s mom is believed to have tried to gate crash the Gqom couple’s wedding at Ballito and demanded things from them but failed.

“Mampintsha was raised by his grandmother, I do not understand why she is doing all this, it wasn’t my job to let her know about the wedding arrangements.

“I am really heartbroken about this video and I will not let it go,” said Babes.
She refuses to be humiliated by her husband’s mother and will stop at nothing to make her pay.

Mampintsha’s mother believes that she was supposed to be given a chance and a say at her son’s wedding that took place on Sunday. She blames Babes and her family for refusing to do that.

Babes said she was happily pregnant and excited about her pregnancy but refused to tell how far she was on her pregnancy.
