‘Funniest thing,’ says Letoya Makhene on separation rumours

Actress and musician Letoya Makhene-Pulumo has described the rumours that were flying around about her marriage as funny.
There had been reports in local media that Letoya and her wife Lebo Keswa-Makhene had separated.
She has however come out and scoffed at the rumours and assured her fans that her marriage is still going strong.
“To come home with my wife from umghidi (a traditional sangoma event) and us waking up to news of a separation was the funniest thing ever.
“Unfortunately fake news like this does affect our families and people close to us,” Letoya wrote on her social media on Monday.
“Thanks to everyone who’s been checking up on us. Your love and support means the world to us,” she added the 38-year-old.
Letoya is the daughter of once popular musician Blondie Makhene and has acted on various TV dramas including Generations – The Legacy.
She married Lebo in December 2020. They are a couple who are not afraid to show their love in public.
Letoya constantly shares their pictures on Instagram with sweet worded captions confessing her undying love.
When she first shared pictures of their wedding in January 2021, she sounded happy.
“How precious also are your thoughts to me… How vast is the sum of them!
“If I were to count them, they would outnumber the sand. ~Psalm 139:17-18.
“I Love You, Lebohang … more than life itself,” she wrote at the time.

Letoya had previously been married to a man and had kids with him before they divorced.
She is also a traditional healer having been initiated back in 2004 when she was much younger.
