Don’t let the heat take the steam off your sex life

We have seen temperatures reaching a high of 35 degrees Celsius, with 85% humidity and absolutely no wind. These are typical characteristics of the South African climate especially in tropical Durban and surrounding areas.

The closure of beaches and the ban on the sale of alcohol due to soaring figures of Covid-19 infections means we are quarantining for the rest of this festive season.

Keep the stress levels at bay and don’t let it affect the action in the bedroom. Who knows, it could just be a blessing in disguise especially if you learn a few tricks on how to keep your clammy hands to yourself while ensuring your partner is intimately satisfied, minus the sweat.

God knows just the thought of my partner (missionary style) sweating all over me is off putting for the rest of the summer months. Truth be told though our sexual appetites can not be tamed till winter, so follow the next helpful tips to ensure that the heat does not interrupt your guilty pleasures.

1. Foreplay using ice cubes is an excellent way to turn up the heat while keeping the body cool. Have a sweet tooth? Try it with ice-cream.

2. Exchanging bodily fluids during a cool shower on a hot summer could be exactly what you need, you water babe you. For the more adventurous type, perhaps sex in the pool could be right up your alley. Just make sure the security cameras are switched off.

3. Substitute the bed with the cool tiled or concrete floor, standing is also an option or maybe you need to release the animal within and just go doggy style with minimal touching.

4. Don’tĀ  have an aircon? Open your windows and allow the breeze to take over. While getting down and dirty during summer will work out double the sweat, when your windows are open and the breeze starts picking up, you best believe the cool feeling will literally feel heavenly on those bodies.

5. Grab a fan and try super breeze sex. Trust me, it’s entirely different experience if you have never tried it before.

What ever you do, don’t let the heat come between you and intimacy with you partner.
